Fog Computing Analysis Based on Internet of Thing: A Review

Abstract

­Cloud machine architectures face many drawbacks due to the improved autonomous and distributed IoT configuration. The IoT is closer to the cloud infrastructure. The fog offers IoT data care and storage locally on IoT devices rather than in the cloud. The fog provides quicker responses and better performance in relation to the cloud. The best alternative for IoT to provide powerful and effective resources for many IoT customers may therefore be called Fog Computing. This paper aims at fog computing’s state-of-the-art and alignment with IoT in detailing the advantages and challenges of implementation. This study will concentrate also on the conception of cloud and fog technology and the application of the cloud and fog paradigm to improve modern IoT technologies. Finally, open issues and alternative research directions are discussed on fog estimation and IoT.

Abstract

­

It’s possible to explain Edge computing (EC) as a distributed system of IT that decentralized the power of processing in which the mobile Internet of Things (IoT) computing would be allowed. In EC, data processed by local tools, computers, or servers, instead of being process and transmitted from the data center. However, with the wider capabilities of EC by increasing the network performance and reducing the latency, security challenges, and the risks will increase with data being stored and used on these devices on the edge or end of the network. This paper first provides a definition of EC and explain the reasons that led to the rapid spread of this type of computing with an explanation of the most important differences between EC and CC, in terms of the resources available for each type, processing, storage, as well as the privacy and security factor. Later, explaining the uses and benefits of this type of computing. However, the challenges are also taken into consideration, foremost among which is security. Through reviewing a number of previous researches, security challenges have been identified in four main sectors, including data privacy and security, access control, attack mitigation, and detection for anomalies Finally, choosing a set of solutions that were drawn from previous studies and contributed in reducing and limiting these challenges. Hopping this paper sheds light on Edge Computing security and paves the way for more future research.

Abstract

­Quality of Service (QoS) is a significant concept in distributed systems. Therefore, several studies within QoS for distributed systems have been researched over the past years. It is very difficult to deliver an appropriate QoS level for frameworks running in different open resource environments, including the Internet. A distributed system’s QoS characteristics are affected by the QoS of the specific hosts involved, and the QoS of the networking subsystem linking these hosts. This paper reviews the state-of-the-art of distributed systems evolution in QoS architecture. In the context of distributed systems, the method adopted is to address QoS terms and a generalized QoS system for identifying and explaining QoS.

Abstract

­Distributed cloud computing innovation is the best approach to provide everything to customers as services through a web association. Utilizing this innovation, the customers would have the option to lease the necessary services through internet browsers. Cloud computing is aimed mainly at delivering customer services on demand. Cloud computing is a general concept that provides a wide range of infrastructure-based services, through platform as a production tool, via software as a service providing customers with the licenses of an application as an on-demand service. Various service models such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and many more are used in Cloud Computing. The features of these service models that distinguish cloud computing from other areas of study are proposed to clarify the essential aspect of Cloud Computing. These service models are compared from different viewpoints so that they can better identify their origins. In this article, three key service models are compared and discussed, i.e., software as a service, platform as a service, Infrastructure as a service, and previous studies on these services demonstrated and compared based on methods, objects, and significant results.

Abstract

Internet of Thing (IoT) is a system of interconnected calculating equipment, electronically and mechanically and digital equipment delivered with Unique Identifiers and capability of data-transmission through a system without needful of Human-to-Human or Human-to-Computer communication. However, IoMT considered as IoT-program-implementation aimed at medicinal besides healthcare requirements, information gathering also investigation to be studied and observed. This led to proposing extensive scope of fascinating prospective consequences for enterprises: vehicles mileage-sensitivity as well auto-strategy support otherwise prepare it strongly establish in addition description predicted alighting periods towards taking-up travelers. This is due to that its standards are as of now being connected to improve access to the mind, increment the quality of care also, above all decrease the cost of care. An efficient IoT healthcare system aims to give continuous remote checking of patient health conditions, to counteract the basic patient conditions, and to improve personal satisfaction through a smart IoT environment. The trend of this paper is about displaying a detailed survey that addresses the closest previous studies to IoT roles in the healthcare sector. Giving inspiration, confinements looked by specialists, and recommendations proposed to examiners for improving this basic research field, according to detailed comparison among the addressed researches.

Abstract

Cloud computing plays a significant role in the world of computers. It is a modern technology that provides a fast access mechanism, expandable, reliable, and provides user specific-facilities such as software services and infrastructure. Through the Internet, the user can access resources wherever they are, so this technology is beneficial in their daily lives. Cloud services provided by the cloud (SAAS, PAAS, IAAS) enable the user to access programs and the platform. Security is the main problem facing the cloud, so people think that using the cloud and its services is not safe, as there is no guarantee of stored information. Distributed computing is a computer division that explores distributed systems, and a distributed system is a system. That exists on computers connected to the network to be communicated through messages passed between each other. Using distributed computing systems has increased due to lower hardware costs and advances in computer network technologies. Distributed computing systems provide the potential for better efficiency and sharing of resources. This article will give a brief overview of cloud history computing, its evolution, advantages, and security aspects, as well as the history of distributed computing, its structure, applications, benefits, and disadvantages.
