Abstract

Enterprises are the cells of the economic system and society, the majority of workers and the government have close ties with enterprises, the occurrence of the financial crisis is, on the surface, an economic problem, but also a social problem.  After more than 40 years of reform and opening up, Chinese companies have accumulated richer growth experience. However, realizing the sustainable growth of enterprises is still a major issue that enterprises are actively exploring. That is to say, what forces should the growth of enterprises rely on and what is the fundamental driving force to promote the growth of enterprises. This paper discusses these issues from the perspective of enterprise cohesion. This paper takes a foreign trade conference as an opportunity, where the participating enterprises came from all over the country and the distribution is representative. The paper uses questionnaire surveys to measure corporate cohesion from two dimensions: interpersonal cohesion and task cohesion. The influencing factors of cohesion in the growth of small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises are analyzed. This paper provides a brief introduction to the cohesion components of small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises, and focuses on four aspects of the enterprise: attractiveness cohesion, structural cohesion, maintenance cohesion, and external environment. It analyzes the influencing factors of cohesion from different levels, and puts forward the paths and measures to cultivate and protect the cohesion of small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises in China.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors of adopting hybrid rice cultivation in Bangladesh using Probit model. It is conducted through collecting data from the primary sources following random sampling technique. To identify the determinants hybrid rice adoption by applying Probit model, the proportion of hybrid rice area under all rice varieties is used as dependent variable, whereas some specific variables which may affect the hybrid rice cultivation are used as independent variables. The result of Probit model shows that age, education, agricultural extension department, BADC, NGO, and company are positively significant factors in encouraging hybrid rice adoption. In the opposite, farm size and the source of information are significant but negatively related to adoption of hybrid rice cultivation in Bangladesh. This study may provide great insights to the policy makers and agro-researchers to take the right initiatives for expanding hybrid rice cultivation, thus, contributing effectively to achieve the targets of sustainable development goals – like making hunger free country.

Abstract

Internet use in the Kurdistan region of Iraq has grown dramatically and has become an essential element of our daily lives, with hundred ISPs on hand and constantly increasing number of users by using e-learning platforms. The need for feedback is deeply linked to student participation and peer evaluation. It is also an issue of evaluation quality; how many feedbacks is made available, how they are given to students, how they are accepted by students, and to how much they are integrated into future instruction and learning. In this paper, three instruments, documentation, interviews and questionnaires were carried out to collect the data. Documentation was used to know the experiences of the students during classroom teaching and learning. The data were collected from the system application on our website. The data were called documentation. A survey is conducted comparing the feedback received from students on e-learning courses at the Duhok Polytechnic University (DPU), with the results of analyzed 100 teachers’ e-learning courses in the Covid-19 period in 2020. Eighteen questions have been asked to 7709 students in 14 technical faculties (6 colleges and 8 institutes) at DPU. The students’ responses were classified to the questions related to teachers’ experiences on preparing courses, students’ interactions, using available e-learning tools and methods. A review has been made on (100) teachers’ courses in the Moodle platform as LMS (learning management systems) to reveal their course preparation, experiences on using available technologies. Our results showed 34.92% of participant students satisfied with e-learning, this means that 65.08% of students preferred face-to-face learning (in class), regarding the trustiness of feedback, reviewed courses and students’ responses which were significantly mismatched. This means that student feedback is not entirely reliable in the learning process.
