Pertaining to this, a self-administered questionnaire was used and a total of 384 nurses in Jordanian hospital were randomly selected as respondents, in which their perceptions were gathered. The hypothesis was tested by using SEM-AMOS package 22.0 and the findings have shown a direct effect of emotional intelligence on Job Performance of Nurses in Jordanian Hospitals, which is positive and significant (β=0.222, P=.001).
